Since June 1986, the Eastern Shore Chamber Music Festival has brought internationally acclaimed musicians to perform at venues throughout the Eastern Shore in cooperation with the Academy Art Museum, Avalon Theatre and the Historical Society of Talbot County in Easton, MD; at Washington College and Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Chestertown, MD; at the Aspen Institute, Wye Woods Center, Queenstown, MD; at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and Miles River Yacht Club in St Michaels, MD; and at the Tred Avon Yacht Club in Oxford, MD. Other concerts featuring these well known musicians were held at numerous spectacular waterfront estates throughout the Eastern Shore.
